Reviews for Ristorante Pizzeria La Poltrona
Review highlights
Based on 831 reviewsRistorante Pizzeria La Poltrona is widely praised for its authentic Italian and Sardinian cuisine, particularly its generous portions of pasta, pizza, and seafood dishes. Reviewers frequently highlight the quality and freshness of the food, with a special emphasis on traditional specialties like spaghetti con le vongole and porcetto. The restaurant is noted for its inviting, family-friendly atmosphere and exceptional hospitality, with staff described as both kind and professional. While prices are considered fair given the portion sizes and quality, the establishment stands out for its efficient service and charming location slightly outside the main center. Overall, it is regarded as a dependable and memorable dining experience, especially appealing to those seeking genuine local flavors over tourist-oriented options.
Probably the best restaurant in Cala Gonone. We went three times within a week because it was so dependable. The pastas (huge portions) and the pizzas are very good. Kind and friendly staff.
Delicious food from some good pizza to the typical porcetto! They are also great with fish, though we just had the octopus as an apertiser (highly recommended!). Great hospitality :-)
THE BEST spaghetti con le vongole. The owner is so hospitable and told us many stories about the area. We went there on recommendation of locals and we are SO happy we did. Every course was spectacular.
A real Italian restaurant. The dishes are very large, but so are the prices. But: the food is worth every penny.Very friendly staff. Not so much geared towards tourists, which is definitely not a bad thing
Best service experience I had in Sardinia.I have been in two dozen Restaurants here and this might be the best one.Highly Professional owner and staff.Food and Desserts are on Point.Everything comes fast and the prices are reasonable.Desserts are also very good.I think the Cappuccino was the best I ever had and I drink them on a dayli basis. The location ist very nice and a bit outside of the Center of Cala Gonone (3-4 minutes by Car).I highly recommend eating here rather than in any Restaurant in the Center of Cala Gonone.
Super tasty bread and pane carasau (a good sign for a pizza place). Our ravioli and pizza were delicious. Excellent prices. More of a local vibe, which we were happy with. We were tired of touristy places and tourist prices.
Amazing service! The staff are extremely friendly, super helpful! Feels like a home more than a restaurant! The food is delicious! We had seafood risotto and sea food pasta,The tiramisu is very light (felt like cream and not mascarpone) but it’s the perfect ending to a dinnerLoved this place and service!
My husband and I came here for our first night in Cala Gonone and it was delicious. It was a full house so we sat in the back but it’s next to a really nice outdoor space. We shared a pizza and the sage ravioli (they have a special name I forget now). The cheesecake was truly remarkable and made from ricotta and mascarpone (if I remember correctly). We ended up speaking to the owner who shared a lot interesting info about food in Sardinia and cheese specifically as he has a certificate in this! Highly recommend. Easy to park and on the outskirts of town but worth it.
